I’m going to become a yoga teacher!

For the past week I’ve been going to Happy-U Namaste yoga studio and I have absolutely fallen in love with their community and atmosphere.  The instructors I’ve met so far are so loving and so good at what they do!  I feel incredibly welcomed and I’m so happy to have stumbled across such an amazing gem in San Diego!

For my yogi/fitness readers, what do you love most about your instructors?

For me it’s all about their energy!

I love it here so much that I decided to do my teacher training with them!  From Sept 16- Nov 20, I will be attending the training all weekend and certain Fridays, totaling 200 hours of classes.  I’m so excited!  I will have to miss one weekend to attend a good friend’s wedding but I can be excused for 1 weekend so I will take it!  This is a $2000 investment and I think it’ll be worth it 🙂  This is super scary for me.  It’s a leap of faith!  I know this is the exact thing I need to explore and practice my talents and to dive bravely into the unknown.

The crazy thing is, I took the last spot!  There are 16 student, myself included and I cannot wait to meet them and embark on this journey together.  Sometimes the universe knows that I’m looking for signs and it gives me one.  I seriously believe the universe reserved this spot for me 🙂  I cannot wait to make new friends and be a part of such an awesome community.

I asked Mitch, the owner for a good lunch spot and he told me to go to Wonderland Bar, right by Ocean Beach.  The logo of this restaurant/ bar was a mermaid (a personal symbolism of mine).  I absolutely loved the view.  I ordered the Miso tuna wrap and it was delicious!  This will be my to go place for a quick bite after yoga!
